They said YES!!!

Oh the most exciting news happened today. My parents said yes to New York! I am so excited. Now there are a few things I have to do to make sure I go.

1) I must go to the gym more often (I usually go once or twice a week).

2) Since I am not really working 5 days a week, I must do more chores (ie. Dishes, Laundry, My Room)

So right after I found out I put on some killer music and dance like crazy. I then immediately went on my computer and searched for concerts that weekend. I found two! The first is the Siren Music Festival. Broken Social Scene, Annuals (I interviewed them), and other are playing and it's FREE! The second, Central Park Soundstage has its FREE show. Santogold is playing. So going up I am taking a train and even though it is 10 hours long. I can get a lot of sleep, work, and additions to my music library. Also, it is so much cheaper. I will update you with this ongoing fantastic trip.

Next, I am looking for a great black leather jacket. It is one of those things that I am desperately seeking. Also, I am looking for some new clothes for my trip to the Big Apple. I really hate to use that expression, but it is necessary. I need to get tons of cardigans and skirts. I really need to go to Goodwill. If there is anything I know Goodwill is the place to find some great clothes. Yea, there you can find just about anything, and I mean anything. Although you might some really bad stuff, and I mean really bad, you can always find a vintage classic. So, I really need a leather jacket, new (to me) shoes, and a vintage clutch.

So, you might think why is she repeating herself, geez she already said she wanted a leather jacket. The reason I am writing this over 3 days. I know that means I broke my promise to myself and didn't wright everyday. Argh, I feel really bad. So I am going to make this extra long. Um... since this is going to be extra long, I am only going to skim through it. Hence the repeating.

Last night I had the weirdest dream. Well it started before I went to bed I just kept thinking about what I need to not forget to bring to NY. I made this list that kept me up and took me forever to

Currently I am watching Sleepless in Seattle. A great chick flick that I even shed a few tears for. But just a few. I am eating my leftovers from last night and sipping on some reheated coffee. Trying to rap my head around the fact that my trip is less than 34 days away. Yes I am counting. My neighbor across the street had his graduation today and know the catering guy is here to set up their outside dinner. "Whoppi", she said sarcastically. Seriously there is an abundance of people.

So I just came from downstairs looked in my fridge. Pineapple and wine is basically all I found in my fridge. If my dad wasn't in the wine business there would be more food in there. Well thankfully I love pineapple.

I think I am going to leave this post with some music. So since I am going to see Rooney next saturday I will leave a video classic.

Until tomorrow (hopefully),
Carey
